This past weekend, the Alpha Gamma Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and the Mu Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. both introduced their newest members.
On Saturday night, beginning at 7:14pm, the line “Sovereign Descendent,” consisting of the solo new member of the Alpha Gamma Alpha chapter was brought in under the Calhoun tunnel to a crowd full of Greeks and non-Greeks from Vanderbilt and beyond.
Then on Sunday at 3:13 p.m., the ladies of Mu Rho introduced their line of 13 new sisters as “The REDsurrection” in Kirkland circle. Both events were very well attended and filled with excitement and pride as older members of both organizations (within and outside Vanderbilt) were present in large numbers to support their organization’s newest members as they recited their learned history and introduced themselves to the Vanderbilt community. These new member presentations were part of this year’s probate season.
